５月１４日（土）にトカラ集会とスケッチ大会が行われました。最初はトカラ集会でした。今回は諏訪之瀬島の担当校で，島についてのクイズを行いました。難しい問題も出てきましたが，児童生徒は楽しそうに頑張って，諏訪之瀬島についてたくさん学べました。
それからスケッチ大会がありました。天気が心配していましたが，幸運のことに雨が降らなくて，屋外で実行することができました。児童生徒はとてもいい風景を選んで絵を描くのに取り組みました。みんなの絵がどうなるのか楽しみにしています！
On Saturday May fourteenth, we had a Tokara school assembly, and our sketch event. First, for the Tokara school assembly, Suwanosejima Elementary Middle School quizzed all the students on facts about the island. It was a tough quiz, but our students could learn a lot about their island, and had fun doing it.
Then, we held our sketch event. We were worried about the weather, but luckily it cleared up, and our students were able to draw outside. They picked great scenes to sketch, and worked very hard on their drawings. We are all excited to see the end results!
