今日の２・３時間目にマラソン大会を実施しました。今日のために朝の活動や体育の時間を通して練習を重ねてきました。３度の試走を参考に自分の目標記録を立て本番に臨みました。全員が無事に完走をすることができました。今年度，中学３年生のＳくんが学校記録を８年ぶりに更新しました。島民の声援を力に全員が自分のベストを尽くせたのではないでしょうか。
Today during second and third period, we had our school marathon event. Our students have practiced for this event in the mornings, and during their P.E. classes. After their third practice run, they set goals for this final run. We're happy to say that all our students were able to finish their runs safely. This year, one of our ninth graders, student S, set a new ninth grader record! Amazing! We would like to thank everyone who came out to cheer our students on, there's no doubt the cheers gave our students the power to set new personal bests.
