今日の５・６時間目にさつまいも堀りがありました。５月に苗植えをしてからずっと楽しみにしていた行事でした。午前中に実施する予定でしたが,悪天候の影響で午後に行いました。たくさんのさつまいもを取ることができ,児童生徒も満足そうにしていました。それぞれ家に持ち帰り,今日はさつまいもパーティーになるのではないでしょうか。
Today during 5th and 6th period we had our sweet potato harvest. We have been waiting for this event since we planted them in May. We originally planned to harvest them this morning, but due to bad weather, we moved it to the afternoon. Our students were very happy to be able to dig out many sweet potatoes today. We were all able to take some home, so surely everyone will be having a sweet potato party tonight!
