The third day of the trip was sighting seeing in Kirishima. First, they went to the imperial Kirishima Shinto shrine. By visiting the shrine, and drawing lottery, our student received much power. After that, our students visited the Uenohara Jomon Forest, where they made magatama beads. Our students polished them with pure hearts, and were able to make smooth and shiny beads. For lunch, they went to the Kurozu Restaurant. The black vinegar drink seemed to be slightly sour for them, but nonetheless they enjoyed a delicious lunch. Lastly, they went to the Kagoshima Aquarium. There, they were able to visit the back of the Kuroshio Great Water Tank, becoming a very special experience.
It was a very long trip that ended in the blink of an eye, but it seems like our students were able to make a lot of great memories. Today, our two students got the day off, and will resume school again starting tomorrow. We are excited to hear all about their trip.
